If you think the scientific method is a way to get an answer to any question, then the statement is false.
But if your concept of the meaning and purpose of the scientific method is accurate, then the statement is ALMOST always true.
The meaning and purpose of the scientific method, in my own words, is this: It's a system of looking for answers that prevents you from fooling yourself, and thinking that what you've found is the answer when it actually isn't.
