How to factor the expression 16x+36

Divide 16 by itself to get the X to have no numbers and divide 36 by 16 and that is what X equals.

To factor the expression, take out common factors or numbers that are common to both terms.

In this case, the number 4.

So take that put of parentheses;

4(4x+9)
