What are the differences in the muscles of a sprinter and a marathon
runner?

The muscles burn and uses calories/energy differently. Sprinters burn through calories rapidly to gain large bursts of speed. Marathon runners burn through calories much slower to maintain speed and consistent pace. Hope this helps!
