One side of a rectangle is equal to 50% of the other one. The circumference is 24 cm. Find the area of the rectangle.

Answer:

perimeter of  the rectangle =24 cm

sum of all side is perimeter.

length = 8   breadth =4  ( half of other side)

Area of the rectangle = l × b

                                    = 8 ×  4

                                    = 32 cm
