f ( x ) = 3x - 1

g ( x ) = 2x - 3

_____________________

g ( x ) = f ( 2 )

2x - 3 = 3(2) - 1

2x - 3 = 6 - 1

2x - 3 = 5

2x - 3 + 3 = 5 + 3

2x = 8

2x ÷ 2 = 8 ÷ 2

x = 4
