Answer

The height of the trapezoid = 3 cm

Explanation

The area of a trapezoid is given as

Area = ½ (a + b) h

where

a and b = base lengths of the trapezoid

a = 9 cm

b = 7 cm

h = height of the trapezoid = ?

Area = 24 cm²

Area = ½ (a + b) h

24 = ½ (9 + 7) h

24 = ½ (16) h

24 = 8h

8h = 24

Divide both sides by 8

(8h/8) = (24/8)

h = 3 cm

Hope this Helps!!!
