The proton and neutron of X is 6 and 6 respectively and proton and neutron of Y is 6 and 8 respectively.Find the mass no. of X and Y.what is the relationship between these two species?

Mass number of X = 6 + 6 = 12
Mass number of Y = 6 + 8 = 14

Symbols of elements are: ⁶X₁₂ & ⁶Y₁₄

So,the elements are "Isotopes"
