Given that the function is given by:
f(x)=2x+x
when x=3, then:
f(3)=2(3)+3
f(3)=6+3
f(3)=9

b] The zero of the function will be given by:
f(x)=2x+x=3x
When x=0 then f(x)=0, hence the zero of the function will be at x=0
