the answer is 14/3 or 4 2/3. 
2 1/3 = 2 x 3 + 1 all over 3 = 7/3
2 x 7/3 = 2 x 7 / 1 x 3 = 14/3 = 4 2/3

The answer would be

First turn the mixed number into a fraction, which is 7/3
We need to turn 2 into a fraction, so we put it over a 1, so 2/1.

Now we multiply and simplify , which is 14/3

Which gives us a mixed number of 4 2/3
